Online Interior Design

Good design doesn't require you to be in the same room as your designer. Our online interior design service gives you direct access to the same level of expertise and creative rigour we bring to every in-studio project, delivered entirely remotely.

We work with homeowners, remote professionals, and businesses that need thoughtful design without the delays of traditional in-person consultancy. If you know what you want but need help getting it right, this is where to start.

What Our Online Interior Design Service Includes

Our online interior design services follow the same methodology as our full-service offering, adapted for remote delivery. You receive a complete design solution, not a mood board and a shopping list.

Every project includes:

  • An initial discovery call to establish your brief, priorities, and budget
  • A concept direction for your approval before we proceed
  • Spatial planning and furniture layout drawn to scale
  • Material, finish, and colour specifications
  • A curated furniture and product specification with trade sourcing where available
  • A full design package you can hand directly to a contractor or implement yourself

Who This Service is For

Our online interior design service suits people who:

  • Are based outside our primary service areas and want access to a design studio with a clear, mature aesthetic
  • Have a specific room or space to resolve and need a complete, implementable solution
  • Are undertaking a renovation and want design input before committing to decisions that are hard to undo
  • Need a professional package to brief a builder or contractor accurately

How the Process Works

We keep the process clear and direct. Here is how a typical project runs:

1. Discovery

We start with a video call to understand the space, how you use it, and what you need from the design. You share photographs, measurements, and any existing pieces you want to keep. We ask the right questions so nothing gets misread later.

2. Concept

We develop a clear design direction: spatial arrangement, material palette, and the overall logic of the space. You review and give feedback before we proceed to the detailed design stage.

3. Design Development

This is where the detail work happens. Floor plans, elevations, finish schedules, and a complete furniture specification. Every decision is intentional and traceable to your brief.

4. Final Package

You receive a complete, contractor-ready design package. If you have questions during implementation, we remain available to support you through to completion.

Frequently Asked Questions

We know that starting an interior design project can feel overwhelming, so we've answered some of the most common questions below to help you feel confident before we even speak.

What does online interior design actually involve?

Online interior design is a full design service delivered remotely, without in-person site visits. You share photographs, measurements, and relevant information about your space, and we develop a complete design solution: layouts, materials, furniture, and specifications. The output is the same as a traditional service; the delivery method is different.

How does working with an online interior designer differ from hiring one locally?

Working with an online interior designer removes the geographical limit on who you can work with. Communication happens by video call and written correspondence. What doesn't change: the quality of the design thinking, the rigour of the brief, or your access to a senior designer throughout. Some clients find the structured, document-based process easier to manage than coordinating in-person appointments.

Will I be able to share the design package with a contractor?

Yes. The final package is structured specifically for that handover. It includes scaled plans, material and finish specifications, and a product schedule with enough detail for a contractor to price and build from accurately. You won't need to interpret or translate anything.

What do I receive at the end of the project?

You receive a complete design package: scaled floor plans, furniture layout, finish and material specifications, a product schedule with sourcing notes, and any elevations or detail drawings relevant to your project. It is structured to be handed directly to a contractor or used independently to procure and implement the design.

Can you design any room type online?

Most rooms translate well to remote delivery: living rooms, bedrooms, home offices, kitchens, and bathrooms. The exceptions are spaces that require significant structural or building work, where on-site coordination becomes a practical necessity. If you're unsure whether your project fits, the discovery call is the right place to find out.
